This appointment is offered to those that have had an initial assessment appointment and division has been agreed. For some babies this can be on the same day as the initial assessment. For others preparation work and exercises are needed first.
An appointment will typically proceed as follows:
- Discussions around risks versus benefits
- Discussion around bleeding management and what to expect from baby directly after division
- Discussion around what to expect in the week following
- Consent
- The division itself
- Feeding support post division
- Review of wound with parents
- Exercises to prevent regrowth
- Exercises for babies with high or sensitive palates
- Oral function exercises specific to your baby
- 2 weeks of remote support via email, WhatsApp and phone
At Home Tongue Tie Division £125.
In Clinic Tongue Tie Division £125.
This appointment is offered to those that have had an assessment appointment and division has been agreed. For some babies this can be on the same day as the initial assessment. For other preparation work and exercises are needed.
An appointment will typically proceed as follows:

These appointments can be booked as early in the pregnancy as you wish but I would advise waiting until after 36 weeks in order to safely commence hand expression.

While time is taken to fully discuss the expectations of healing in your baby at the time of division, it is reassuring for some parents to have their baby checked in person following a tongue tie division
These optional 20 minute appointments are provided in clinic to review wound, healing and progression of exercises
You are welcome to book in as many times as you wish
These appointments are short and therefore not suitable for those requiring ongoing feeding support. If you need to spend time with supported feeding please book a follow up appointment

If you would like to book a package of 3 clinic appointments this is available at the reduced price of £350. Depending on individual need this may be a pre-division/division/follow up or various combinations of the above
Some babies need additional oral function work prior to division to ensure the division itself is safe, effective and heals well. Others need extra support post division to establish feeding. Packages will be designed to your individual needs
